Duvall James “Jim” Herbert, 77 of Rogers passed away Tuesday October 25, 2016 at the Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. Jim was born the son of Floyd G. Herbert and Eula Hebert Herbert on August 16, 1939 in Port Arthur, Texas. In addition to his parents, Jim was also preceded by his brother Jack Herbert. Jim’s surviving family include his wife Donna Herbert of AR; sister Jarie Vaconovsky of CA; daughter Gina Herbert of AR; son Ed Herbert of FL; step daughters Denise Sudduth of AR, Kathy Rahlwes of CA, Shannon Edens of AR, and Jennifer McMahon of MO. Including six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.
After graduating high school, Jim began a career lasting over forty years as a professional truck driver for Smurfit/Stone retiring in 2002. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting pool, playing golf, and simply cooking on the grill.
