I remember the first time Emily came to my parents' home (Pete & Jean Evans) in Pocahontas when she was dating my Uncle Jerry. She was smart, always had a good attitude and was kind to everyone.
I was at their wedding in 1971. No doubt, God brought Emily into Jerry's life at the right time.
She is part of many wonderful childhood memories we have growing up in Pocahontas. The Evans' boys will miss her.

I have thought of your family often, thinking about how much I enjoyed coming to your home when I was a little girl and playing with Emily. How her brother teased me and all of you always treated me so kind. It is one of my most favorite memories. I will never forget you sweet Emily. Love and peace to all of you. 🌹♥️
