Gerald Robert Stevenson, age 85, of Rogers, died June 10, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 10, 1925, to the late Virgil and Mary (Walker) Stevenson.
He served his country in World War II in the U.S. Navy, and was honorably discharged in 1946.
Survivors include his children, Jerry Stevenson of Frankfort, Illinois, Patsy Page of St. George, Illinois, Eloise Nayder of Mokena, Illinois; step children, Mary Britton of Matteson, Illinois, CeCe Caulom of Tinley Park, Illinois, Thomas Rosenthal of Country Club Hills, Illinois, Beth Nardon of Rogers, Cathy Casper of Tinley Park, Illinois; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, James Stevenson, and his wife, Mary Ellen Stevenson.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Rollins Funeral Home.
