Helen Louise Guy

Helen, age 89, was born September 9, 1934 to Harley and Hazel Welker, the second daughter of four girls; Donna Grubbs (departed), Dorothy Hoyt and Marylou Breedlove.

She was married to the love of her life, Harry O. Guy, for 46 blessed years. She is survived by their three children and their spouses: Darlene and Scott Gillespie of Huntsville; Marlene and Bill Britting of Rogers; and Russell and Terry Guy of Rogers. She also leaves 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Helen was an active member of Grace Baptist Church of Rogers where she enjoyed working in the prayer garden. She enjoyed reading, gardening and especially delighted in spending time with her grandchildren and children.

A celebration of Helen’s life is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 16 at Grace Baptist Church on New Hope Road, Rogers, Arkansas. Brother Randy Parks will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in honor of Helen may be given to the Grace Baptist Church Prayer Garden Fund or NW Arkansas Hospice Circle of Life.
