Helen Rose Mayfield, 96, departed this life August 4, 2016. She was born August 3, 1920 to the late Frank and Julia (Schoelen) Jungels in Hennessey, OK. She was preceded in death by Thomas E. Mayfield, her husband of 62 years. They were long time owners of Tom and Jerry's Shoes, Rogers. Also preceded in death were her brothers, Francis Jungels and Marvin Jungels, and her sister, Dorothy (Jungels) Colwell.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce E. Washam (Bob) of Oklahoma, sons Thomas E. Mayfield, Jr. of Florida and Robert A. Mayfield of New York; 5 grandchildren, Wendy, Tina, Terry, Tricia, and Tommy; 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation or the American Foundation for the Blind.
