Bud loved spending time with his family, traveling and playing board games with them. He was an avid outdoorsman and spent his time hunting, fishing, and even flying his plane. He was a pool shark too and owned his own stick. Bud really enjoyed playing bingo at the American Legion Post 100, although he may have enjoyed flirting with the ladies more. Bud always lived life to the fullest and spent his last years doing the things he loved most, especially soaking up time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Eva (Benthumn) Case and second wife Lucille (Stone) Case.
Bud is survived by his son, Merle Case and wife, Marcy of Iowa; two daughters, Linda Lundy of Missouri, and Violet Case of Minnesota; brother, Gary Case of Colorado; and sister, Bernadean Spilde of Iowa. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Karla, Kris, Keith, Chandra, Jason, Jessica, Joni; and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
