Joseph Russell “Jack” Khilling died December 12, 2018 in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born November 2, 1933 in Lavaca, Arkansas to Russell and Margaret Khilling. Jack was a hard-working man who loved his wife of 59 years, Ruby Khilling of Rogers, with his whole heart. He served proudly as a US Marine during the Korean War and continued a life of compassionate service by caring for those in need within our community. Upon retirement from Gordon Transports, he enjoyed more time for the things he loved – the outdoors, gardening, fishing and family.
In addition to his wife Ruby, he is survived by four children – Susan McMillen of Everett, Washington, Debbie Rambo (and husband Jon) of Garfield, Jack Khilling (and wife Marion) of Woodinville, Washington, and Karen Childers (and husband Allen) of West Fork; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Marybeth Jones and Jan Hupperich.
Memorial services will be held at City Heights United Methodist Church in Van Buren on Tuesday December 18th at 11:00 am. Memorial gifts may be made to City Heights United Methodist Church, 1002 Fayetteville Road, Van Buren, AR 72956.
