Jim was always, just Jim to me.  He was my brother-in-law.  Funny, quirky,manly, loved my sister Jim. But I saw what everyone else saw at Jims viewing and funeral.  I was overwhelmed at the respect and love our community showed just Jim.  Thank you all for opening my eyes to who Jim touched, and loved.  I was humbled!  Jim is sharing his love of all things  nature in heaven with his friends, and loved ones.  I will miss him, truly.  Tammy.

It seems to us that Jim always served others with a heart for the Lord.  Surely you all saw this more than the rest of us.  The Lord is our life - our hope - and our tomorrow.  May you each know God's magnificent presence.

Dear Molly and family,
I am very blessed to have known Jim and was honored to have called him my friend! Jim was like an Uncle to me and meant so much to me! Jim was an amazing , compassionate man, who cared more for others than for self. I have many fond memories of Jim. I remember on this past mission trip, Jim always looked out for me. Every night before I went to bed, Jim would always ask me," Have you checked your sugar, or How's your sugar?" He wanted to always make certain that my sugar was fine before we went to do something. One morning, my sugar dropped down to 40. I remember Jim saying," You sit your butt down and eat some Little Debbies and drink this juice. I can't afford or don't have the time for you to get down, and don't want to have to explain why I didn't look out for you to your Mom!" He was always thinking about others. My prayers are with all of you!

Where do you start? How long is that story going to last, "these people need to go home and go to bed Jim" Molly would say. "O, just a few seconds" Jim would say. 15 minutes later, "your done done yet?" Good Lord.
Paul and Peter and David is all around him and if there is a lemon tree in Heaven, you will find Jim. Always got a ear out.......OOOOOthat not how it goes. It was like this. Kids, he loved all the kids and knew all there names and where they lived. Jim, the Bus ride to Church will go on and is in good hands and  I got Kimmies dad to tell me "the rest of the story" We love you all very much.

Dear Molly and family,
Jim was very special to us.  We will miss his stories and jokes, but most of all, we will miss his passion and commitment to our Lord Jesus.  We are grateful God let us know him, if only for a short time.  We look forward to the day when time won't matter and forever we will be with Jim and with the Lord.
May you be comforted and blessed in the days and weeks ahead.  We love you.

Dear Mays Family.
Jim took care of and saved many of our trees since the 1970's. We still have most of the ones we started with way back then. We have fond memories of the times Jim was at our house and considered him a friend. He was a kind and gentle man.
He and my husband, also a Jim, were fellow pilots. It was in your plane that my grandson had his first flight almost 14 years ago. Jim and Jim had  then two year old James buckled in the plane's back seat when he started crying. They took him out and let him walk around for awhile. He finally said, "I'll go if I can sit in Poppy's lap". He loved the flight and still enjoys flying.

He always thought his jokes were funny.  It was that fact, and seldom the jokes themselves, that always made me laugh. You know he's telling Peter a big fish story right now, repeating the punch line at least twice, and laughing just as hard each time.

I'll always enjoy the hunting,fishing, and friendship.
