

Jimmy served in the U.S. Army and he was a Mason. He was a self-taught musician, talented guitarist and singer. He loved baseball, following the New York Yankees and the Texas Rangers. Jimmy and his father enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was well-read and an admitted “homespun philosopher.”
He is survived by his parents; wife, Kristi Thompson; one son, Keagan; one-daughter, Jaeden, one step-daughter Chalin, two stepsons, Corbin and Kadyn, all of Rogers; and one half-sister, Janelle Montz of Texas.
A visitation will be Saturday, May 25, 2013, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers, Ark., with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m.
