The news of Jay's illness and death has caught me by surprise. I enjoyed having him in my class at RHS10. He was a great student and a pleasure to be around. My thoughts are with you all, and I pray for God to give you comfort and peace.

I really enjoyed having Jay in band at Oakdale. What a fine player. When I heard of his illness my heart sank. Even though I didn't get to see much of him in the last few years I haven't forgotten how much fun he was in class and his good nature.

I really enjoyed the video yesterday. I was not aware that he was so good at water sports. I too wake board, but not like that. That was awesome.

We can't begin to understand God's plan, all I know as that when we lose someone so young, God must have needed an exceptional Angel.
The loss of a child is the greatest burden to bare. May God reach out his hand to your hearts and hold the shattered pieces. Healing and Hope to you and your family.
