Jeffrey Rogers Letterman

Jeffrey R. Letterman, 46, died October 25, 2011 at his home in Rogers. He was born in Kansas City, MO on January 28, 1965 to Roger and Judy M. (Fashing) Letterman. He moved here from Florida in 2009. Jeff was a wonderful man, who enjoyed spending time alone. He was a Lifetime Member of the VFW, was in the Army from 1988-1991 and fought in Desert Storm in the 101st Airborne Division. He was an airborne parachute rigger and earned his air assault and airborne badges. He is survived by his parents of Rogers; brother, Jerry I. Letterman and Nancy Standish of Rogers; Maternal uncle and aunt, George Fashing of Prairie Creek, AR and Joan Soileu of Kansas City, KS; Paternal uncle and aunts, Ernest E. Letterman and Pat Hansen both of Lee’s Summit, MO, Barbara and Casey Pinnock of Lenexa, KS and Shirley Letterman of Marshall, MO; and many cousins. His grandparents have preceded him in death. A graveside memorial will be held at National Cemetery in Fayetteville at a later date. Our love and memories of you will be in our hearts forever. My thougths and prayers go out to the Letterman family. We were neighbors of Jeffrey and Jerry in the early '70's in Matthews, NC. We had some memorable times.
