Jerry, you are the man I very much loved and respected. You had an amazing ability to find humor in the little things in life. You claimed the title of trash-meister as you went about collecting the trash. And you would go on latrine patrol when you were tending to the kitty’s litter box. You made life fun. You gave me an anniversary card that said, “Those that laugh together last forever” and it is true. I enjoyed your company so much even when we were doing nothing.
You were also an intelligent man. I have learned so much from you. I am not sure how I will go on, but it seems I must go on. Know that my heart will always be yours.
I will try not to focus on all that I have lost but remember all that I was blessed with for so many years. I am not sure how successful I will be, but I will try.
I am grateful the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob brought us together and for the guiding light He provides.
