He was retired from the Army 22 years as a LT. Colonel.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Linda Fern Bush.
He is survived by his mother; wife Kathy Thompson; son Jeremy Thompson of Kansas City, MO; daughter Valerie Ann and husband Josh Meyer of Bella Vista, AR; brothers Jimmy and wife Shauna Thompson of Centerton, AR, David and Marion Thompson of Centerton, Randy and Keri Thompson if Centerton; grandchildren William Meyer, age 8, Gabrielle Meyer, age 6, Christopher Meyer, age 1; many nephews and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 10A.M. at the 1st Baptist church in Centerton, AR. Committal services will be held the same day at 1:30P.M in the Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, AR.
