To the family: I'm so very sorry!!!

I didn't know John was so healthy and nice-looking after growing up. I hadn't seen him since '66, when graduating with him. I've always wondered when we could have had a good conversation. He was around at the beginning of the FLOWER POWER years. He was a kind and poetically quiet guy. So to him I speak:
You are always to be loved and remembered by many of your Mater Dei classmates! Hope to hear more about your life, travels, and those who were your extended family.

I was a St. Wendell class mate of John and also a Mater Dei class mate. We tried to keep in touch over the years. He will be missed by many friends

I will miss John. I will miss seeing his JRA notes. He was a DEDICATED RT. I would always come into work and if he was on duty he would always say he was happy to see me. Even if I knew it was because he could be off duty just hearing made me feel special. God bless your family.

I have been lucky to work night shifts with John at the VA the last 3 years. I'll miss his wisdom, jingling keys, "Hey Kiddo", and treats from IGA. God Bless.
