John Marcus Macon

John Marcus Macon entered heaven on January 28, 2012 to the welcoming arms of his father, R. H. "Tom" Macon, mother, Maggie Isabel Macon, brother, Robert Dale Macon, brother, Michael Thomas Macon, and son, John Stephen Macon.

John's surviving family that wished him goodbye with prayers and hymns are his wife, Louene Marie Macon; daughter, Tracie Annette Draehn and husband Ricky; son, John Timothy Macon and wife Christy; grandchildren, Ellen Marie Brune and husband Stuart, Stephen Edward Draehn, Matthew Thomas Macon, Michael Timothy Macon, Jack Ramsey Macon; brother-in-law Roger Hugh Anderson and wife Rebecca; niece Charlotte Rochelle Blackwell; nephew William Hugh Anderson and wife Wendy; nephew Anthony Paul Anderson and wife Sarah; niece Charlotte Yvette Gipson and husband Perry; sister-in-law Carol Macon; nephew Robert Kent Macon and wife Donna; and nephew Randall Scott Macon and wife Wanda.

John served in various capacities in the oil and gas industry in eastern New Mexico and west Texas before retiring to his birth place of Bentonville, Arkansas. John was a graduate of Bentonville High School class of 1956 and was a member of First Baptist Church, Bentonville.

Visitation will be Monday, January 30, 2012 at Rollins Funeral Home from 4pm - 7pm with a funeral service at 10am Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Bentonville by Reverend Gordon Topping.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Bentonville or Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Rd, Springdale AR 72762. Please designate your gifts to the church as "benevolence".
