He enjoyed water skiing and fishing on the Greers Ferry Lake where he lived. He was an avid Razorback football and basketball fan, and would watch the games with great enthusiasm. But most of all Joseph loved spending time with his family whenever he could.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, John Swaim and Tracy Swaim.
He is survived by his 2 children: son, Daniel Swaim and daughter, Paige Swaim; sister, Lisa Reed; brother, Roger Swaim; and 3 grandchildren, Isaac Perry, Gabriella Ramirez and Henry Swaim.
