Strongest asset: Kevin had a super memory and loved to tell stories like his father Cliff, he could remember in detail things we did 30 years ago and tell you with precision, I never met anyone with a memory this good and the stories were always funny.

I was proud of Kevin for growing up and taking on the responsibility of running the Marina as well as he did I am sure Cliff would look down and be proud of him as I am sure Sami was.

I loved Kevin and I will miss Kevin, he never knew why Cliff Callaghan called my name on his death bed and wanted to see me, this was because I believed in Jesus and Heaven and by praying you could get forgiveness of your sins and enter the paradise of Heaven, Kevin was not a big believer in God however he will now understand why Cliff called my name on his death bed that even if he did not ask for forgiveness his friends and Family can pray that Kevin’s sins are forgiven and he is able to enter the kingdom of Heaven, I did this for Cliff and surely will continue to pray for my friend Kevin Callaghan.

I am 15 hours away and have to many animals to leave for very long I wish I could have been with you all however my prayers will continue always for Kevin. I thank all those that pray for Kevin and send my love to all of you.

Kevin Callaghan – A bright star!

Since I have known Kevin for 37 years and we have done so many things together it is hard to put the words in this short format.

For those that knew Kevin when we were young knowing Kevin that he took forever then to get ready sometimes I would get there to pick Kevin up to go out and he had not even washed his clothes or took a shower! However that is how I got to become good friends with his parent’s Sami and Cliff Callaghan.

Funniest times were many however since I should pick one I can involve Robert Conley, we walked out of Ridge Runners Me, Robert, Kevin and Vince someone was jumping up and down on a car and jumping on the windshield with a very happy look he was having so much fun he got us all belly laughing for 60 seconds when Robert all of a sudden his look changes and says hey that’s my car!, me and Kevin then laughed so hard we had tears and then we all chased the guy down, we talked about this funny seen for years.

Saddest time was when Kevin said he hated me for years when I asked why he said it was because his father Cliff Callaghan loved me more than him. I had to explain Cliff always wanted to talk to me to see where Kevin was or get advice on how to help Kevin not that he loved me more. And when Kevin wanted his father to buy Horeshoe bend Marina Cliff called me and said Al should I buy this Marina Kevin wants me to buy and I said not because you love Kevin but because it is also good for you, you like the area and it is a good investment for you both.

Funny sayings Kevin would say when we were younger: Kevin always had to put an emphasis of energy behind words with excitement and would say things like Hey Now! In a loud and enthusiastic voice or Come On Now! It always was memorable and took a notch up we were going to have fun.

My amazing cousin Kevin will be missed. My son just admitted to me about our last visit with Kevin and his ride in the fancy red corvette. When Kevin and my son were out of sight, Kevin said "Hold on now, let's see what this thing can do!". So glad we had that visit. Sending love to Sami, Jackie and Kent!!!

Jackie, Sami & Kent, I'm so sorry that you've lost Kevin. Your lives will change forever without him, but I know that you'll have wonderful memories of him.

Kevin was always a great source for whenever I needed something for one of my vehicles.
I will miss his always smiling face whenever I saw & visited with him. He'll be looking over the marina in spirit, he was just part of it.

Prayers for all of you.

May you rest in peace Kevin. We will always remember your kindness, the laughs we shared and good times at the lake. Countless stories around the campfire and Kevin giving us an evening ride on a beautiful boat on Beaver Lake are never forgotten. We will miss you.
May God protect and heal your family during this difficult time.
The Tully family.
