Leslie Albert Townzen, 88, of Bentonville passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014. He was born in Rogers on March 8, 1926 and was the last surviving of 8 children born to the late Albert L. and Dora Lear Henry Townzen. Following is graduation from High School, he proudly served in the US Army. Early in his work-life he owned a milk route and worked on the construction of War Eagle dam before beginning his career as a machinist with Daisy Mfg. with 37 years service at his retirement. He enjoyed traveling, woodworking and serving his church as an adult Sunday School teacher and a Deacon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a sister, Mildred and 6 brothers, Arthur, Charles, Bud, Ernie, Howard and Glen.
Survivors include his loving wife, Erma; his daughter Brenda and husband Bob; his son, Bruce; his grandchildren, Brad and Jennifer; and his great-grandchildren, Bilal, Raya and Muhammad.
