Margaret Idell Oxenreider

Margaret Idell Oxenreider, 86, of Rogers, Arkansas entered the arms of Jesus on May 28, 2025. She was born on August 11, 1938, in Marshfield, Missouri to the late James Franklin Rust and Sara Edith (Dalton) Rust.

Margaret was married to Delmar Lee Oxenreider on June 25, 1955, and the two were happily married for 41 years. She was as tough as nails, and she was always a constant in the lives of her family. She was loving and caring, and she was immensely proud of her children and grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers, crafting, and reading a good book. She was an avid Wahoo player and showed no mercy (even to her grandkids). Margaret regularly attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rogers. She will be dearly missed by her family and those who knew her.

Margaret is preceded in death by: loving husband, Delmar Oxenreider; parents, James and Sarah Rust; and siblings, Ernest Rust, Ruby Cooley, May (Punky) Petty, and Junior Rust; and son-in-law, Jim Shivers.

She is survived by: daughters, Debra Shivers and Kathryn Bradley (Mark); grandchildren, Charmaine Williams (Robert), Shawna Worrall (Matt), Amanda Shivers, Byron Bradley (Anna), Zachary Bradley (Damie), Seth Bradley (Alexandra), Andrew Bradley (Mackenzie), Kaitlyn Adams (David), and Luke Bradley (Taylor). She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rogers from 11:00-12:00PM, with service immediately to follow at 12:00PM. Service to be officiated by Pastor Karl Roten. Margaret will be laid to rest at Bonner Springs Cemetery in Bonner Springs, Kansas on Saturday, May 31st at 2:00PM. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Bradley, Byron Bradley, Zachary Bradley, Seth Bradley, Andrew Bradley, Luke Bradley, and David Adams.
