She was a graduate of Rogers High School.
At the age of 13, she became the organist at First Baptist Church in Rogers and continued to play for many years, until meeting her husband, James Conner. They were married in 1937, for 73 years, until Jim’s passing in February 2011.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Mary Frances Rowe of Sunrise Beach, Texas and Janet Williams of Rogers; 4 granddaughters, and 9 great grandchildren.
Her visitation will be in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, January 21, 2014, starting at 1:00 with a service to follow at 2:00. Burial will be at Oakley Chapel Cemetery.
