Mary Ann Crawford Kitterman

Mary Ann Kitterman, 66, of Rogers, Arkansas, died Thursday afternoon March 10, 2011. Mary was born in Des Moines, IA on August 5, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Donald and Emily (Patrick) Crawford.

Mary graduated from North High School in Des Moines in 1962. She worked outside of the home for much of her life, with her last position being with Smurfit-Stone Container Co., where she was recording secretary for her local union. She was a past president of the local Business and Professional Women’s organization. Mary loved to cook, especially baking, and she was an avid Razorback fan and loved to cheer on those Hogs. She had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh, which brought much happiness to everyone around her.

Mary is survived by her husband of 48 years, Donald Kitterman; her two daughters, Lisa Kitterman of Dallas, TX and Lori Chumbler and husband Joe of Rogers, AR; one grandson, Nicholas Chumbler of Rogers, AR; and two brothers, Don Crawford of Pleasantville, IA, and Mike Crawford of Mesquite, TX.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 10411 W. Markham, Ste. 130, Little Rock, AR 72205-1409.
