Mary Jean Roper

Mary was a homemaker most of her life except for 10 years where she worked at Beverly Manor Nursing Home in Bentonville. She was an excellent cook and kept an immaculate home and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Mary is proceeded in death by one sister, Martha Louise Giles, and her husband James Harold Roper.

Mary is survived by two sons, Kenneth Roper of Sulphur Springs, AR; Michael Roper of Elm Springs, AR; a daughter, Lynn May of Rogers, AR; 4 Grandchildren Randall Roper of Claremore, OK, Diana Cook of Rogers, AR, Jessica Ott of Bentonville, AR; and Travis May of Rogers, AR; 6 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

You’d want us to smile again and that’s just what we do every time we reminisce with loving thoughts of you. You’re with us when each new day dawns and when we say goodnight our guardian angel here on earth and heavens shining light.
