Maryann Ferm

Maryann Ferm, 91, passed away on September 11, 2026 in Bentonville. She was born February 2, 1935 in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Henry and Clara Higgason. She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Ferm. Maryann was born and raised in Elkhart. She later went on to receive her associate’s degree from St Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. She worked for over 20 years as a Radiology Technician all while raising her five children. Don and Maryann moved their family to Bentonville in 1976.

She is survived by Dr. Diane Wyatt and husband John; John Ferm and wife Vicki; Kent Ferm and wife Roxanne; Mark Ferm and wife Amanda; Allyson Brothers and husband Rob; along with 13 grandchildren.

Maryann was a loving mother and grandmother. She and Don were founding members of St. Stephen Catholic Church. Her favorite pastime was playing bridge. At age 91, she was still playing 4 days a week.
