Maurine Miller

Maurine attended Bentonville schools and graduated from “Old High” in 1949. She married Lee Allen Miller, and they had one son.

Maurine received a Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Science degree from Kansas State College of Pittsburg. She taught school in Coffeyville, Kansas for 30 years and retired in 1986 to live in Grove, Oklahoma for ten years. She then moved back to Northwest Arkansas to be near her family.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack N. Maxwell, and a sister, Sally Maxwell Potts.

Maurine is survived by her son, Richard A. Miller and wife, Emma, a grandson, Zeb Maxwell Miller, and three great-granddaughters, Abby Grace, Sara Elizabeth, and Lily Ann.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th at Grace Chapel United Methodist Church in Rogers from 9:30-10:30AM, with funeral service immediately to follow at 10:30AM. Maurine will be laid to rest at Bentonville Cemetery.

Maurine was an active and faithful member of Grace Chapel United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace Chapel United Methodist Church.
