Max Newman

Max loved to fish, and enjoyed working in his garden. He was famous for his family fish fries. Max also loved being a greeter in the garden center of the Rogers Wal-Mart, Store Number 1, where he worked for ten years.

He is preceded in death by his mother; a brother, Bob Yoes; a sister, Liz Peters; and a son, Ronnie Neighbors.

Max leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife Nettie of the home; two sons, Dale Neighbors of Tyler, TX and Jim Neighbors of Fayetteville; a daughter, Linda Rigsbee of Rogers; a brother, Bill Yoes of Greenland; four sisters, Claudie Jones of Springdale, Jerry Tony of Rogers, Gene Stout of Springdale, and Kay Simmons of Farmington. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held to celebrate Max’s life at 2:00 PM Friday, March 9, 2012, at the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Services are under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home.
