McKenzie was loved by all who knew her. She will be remembered as a vibrant young woman who touched countless lives. She was a student at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, studying accounting and finance, hoping to enter the business world. Her true passion, however, was helping people. She worked as a lifeguard, ready to respond to danger. As a volunteer at Saving Grace, TASC, and the Pack Shack, she did her part to help her community and make the world a better place for all of us.
She is survived by her parents; sisters Amanda Catron; Cheyenna Pendergraft and husband Ryan, Hayley Kidd and fiancée Steven Barrows; nieces, Maelee and Lynlee Pendergraft; grandparents, Joyce Catron, Katrina Walton and husband Terri, Ken Midlam, and Linda Waller; stepfather, Woodrow Mulherin; her aunts and uncles, and innumerable friends.
