Miriam E Bell

Miriam E. Bell, 78, died July 10, 2013 in Rogers. She was born on July 7, 1935 in Medora, Illinois to the late Harry and Oleta (Varble) Johnston. She was the loving wife of the late Richard Bell, whom she married, May 10, 1952.

Miriam was a member at the Lakeside Baptist Church and of TOPS. She volunteered at the Wellness Center and was an avid Bingo player and bird watcher. She always enjoyed being the first in line for blueberry picking every season. She was very active all her life and always ran a tight ship.

She is survived by her sons; Jim Bell (Julie) of Bella Vista and Jeff Bell of Rogers; daughters, Deb Hovey of Rogers, Laura Kesel of Bella Vista, Donna Nessmith (John) of Pea Ridge, and Lisa Fields (John) of Rogers; sisters, Maxine Wahlheim of IL, Harriet Land of CA, Dorothy Throop of AK, and Sarah Barraza of CA; 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bell is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; sons, Rick and Randy Bell and brother, Robert Johnston.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 4 unto 6 at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be Monday, July 15, 2013 at 9:30am at the Lakeside Baptist Church, 15891 E. Highway 12, Rogers, with the burial to follow at Bentonville City Cemetery.
