Muriel Rae Warden, 82, of Rogers passed away Friday February 11, in Bentonville, she was born January 4, 1940, in Siren, Wisconsin the daughter of Oscar and Bernice Barnes Lind. Muriel had a joy for life! She loved entertaining, gardening, dancing, golfing, and serving others. Muriel’s world evolved around her family, friends, grandchildren and her faith. She is preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Rose Marie Johnson, Carmel Retting, Barbara Donlin, Sherry Nate.
Muriel is survived by her husband Darrell Warden of 64 years of marriage, one son James Warden and wife Candace of Stanchfield, Minnesota, two daughters Laurie Lopez and husband Andres of Centerton, Arkansas, Amy Wachtel and husband Eric of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren. Services will be 11:00 am Friday, February 18, at Hope Church 1700 Moberly Lane, Bentonville with Jim Brewer officiating, there will be a visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church, and interment will follow service at Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be designated to Alzheimer’s disease research at Mayo Clinic.
