Nancy May Lowe, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, February 5, at the age of 83. She was born on May 1, 1942, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Blue Bell, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
Her husband affectionately called her his “Little Heifer” or “Little Buddy.” She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her husband and family were her greatest treasures.
Nancy attended Penn State University, studying fashion. She worked as a legal secretary for over 35 years in Sedalia, Missouri. She was an actively involved member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings, but had a special love for serving in the Family History Center. She was very creative and enjoyed painting, sewing, needlework, knitting, and especially quilting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Gertrude Heilman; her sister, Jane Heilman; and her brother, George Heilman. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Michael Lowe; children Nia (Sidney) Clark, Dustin (Angie) Irlenborn, and Luis Salinas Lowe; grandchildren Austin (Martha) Irlenborn, Braden (Savannah) Irlenborn, Kaylee Irlenborn, Isabella (Corey Spindler) Irlenborn, and Zoey Irlenborn; great-grandchildren Lucy, Addison, and Weston Irlenborn; and her brother, Bob (Carol) Heilman.
