Raymond was born in Kansas and spent most of his early life here. Through mutual friends, he met his wife, Judy, and the two were happily married for 34 years. They lived in Colorado for five years, where Raymond worked at a ski resort. In 1997, they moved to Rogers, Arkansas to be closer to family. Raymond had a job at Rogers High School for many years, working the midnight shift doing custodial work and serving as a security guard. In his spare time, he loved to tinker with cars and trucks, especially taking apart engines and putting them back together again. He was a jack-of-all-trades and could fix anything that was put in front of him; he could visualize any project in his head, and very rarely did he ever use an instruction manual. Although Raymond was a man of few words, he was loved and appreciated by those who knew him. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
