Patricia Rowland

Pat was born on August 15, 1946, to Maerine (Cox) and Harold William McCully. From a young age, Pat had a strong Christian faith and accepted Jesus into her heart as a young girl. Her faith remained an important and guiding part of her life. She was a longtime member of Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas, where she found fellowship, friendship, and a church home she loved.

Pat graduated from Rocky Comfort High School in 1964 and later attended Crowder College. She spent much of her career as a secretary and executive assistant, including many years at Springdale Memorial Hospital and Tyson Foods. Throughout her career, Pat was known for her dedication, kindness, and genuine ability to connect with everyone she met.

Those who knew Pat will remember her infectious laugh, the smile that was almost always on her face, and her wonderfully positive outlook on life. She had a special gift for bringing happiness into a room and making others feel welcome and loved. Her kindness, laughter, and joyful spirit touched countless lives throughout her 80 years.

Above everything else, Pat’s greatest love was her family. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with the people she loved, creating memories with those closest to her, and proudly showing off pictures of her family.

Pat met the love of her life, Craig Rowland, while singing in the church choir. Their meeting began a beautiful life together built upon love, faith, family, friendship, and plenty of laughter.

Pat is survived by her loving husband, Craig Rowland of Rogers, Arkansas; her stepson, Craig Rowland Jr. of Aurora, Colorado; three grandchildren, Ethan, Olivia, and Caroline Rowland of Colorado; her brother, Bill McCully and his wife, Mary, of Springdale, Arkansas; her niece, Cathy Canfield and her husband, Steve; and her nephew, Billy McCully and his wife, Janice. She also leaves behind extended family, church family, dear friends, and many others whose lives were made brighter simply by knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maerine (Cox) McCully and Harold William McCully.

While Pat’s family and friends will deeply miss her presence, her beautiful smile, and especially that unforgettable laugh, they find comfort in knowing that the Christian faith she carried throughout her life has brought her home to the loving arms of Jesus. Though there is sadness in saying goodbye, there is also joy in knowing that Pat is now at peace in the presence of the Savior she loved and trusted throughout her life.

A Celebration of Life honoring Pat will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 3:00–4:00 p.m. in the Parlor at Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas.

Family and friends are invited to come together to remember Pat, celebrate the beautiful life she lived, and give thanks for the love, laughter, faith, and wonderful memories she leaves behind.
