Rafe Ann Du Bois

Rafe Ann was born on November 13, 1967 in Greenville, TX to Mary Rafe Wallace.

Rafe Ann graduated from Lone Oak High School in 1986, then went on to complete her education at the University of Arkansas, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History.

A devoted mother and grandmother, her greatest pride and joy was the family she built. Her home was always filled with warmth and conversation, creating a lifetime of cherished memories with her three daughters, Bethany, Channing, and Madeline. The laughter, traditions, and deep bonds they shared continue through her two grandchildren, Brighton and George, who brought endless brightness to her world.

Professionally, Rafe Ann served as a Financial Advisor, CRPC® with Edward Jones. Her work was far more than a career; it was a passion driven by her love for the people she served. She forged deep, lasting connections with her clients, taking the time to listen to their stories and celebrating their milestones alongside them. She treasured the relationships she built and took immense pride in helping everyone feel secure, valued, and understood.

Rafe Ann loved the arts, history, and the thrill of discovery. Throughout her adult life, she prioritized traveling abroad and could be found exploring museums, experiencing different cultures, and dancing through life with pure zest. Adventures were made sweetest when shared with her family.

Rafe Ann actively lived out her faith and love for community through her service as a member of Christ Community Church. She was a welcoming presence as a church volunteer, greeting others and serving at the coffee bar. Driven by her lifelong love for culture and connection, she also volunteered at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.

Rafe Ann’s life was defined by a vivid, joyful energy. She was a true sunshine soul who made friends effortlessly and brightened every room she entered. What mattered most to her were the moments that brought people together, whether enthusiastically dancing through the streets of Italy or embarking on unforgettable trips.

Back home, she poured that same passion into her family, centering her world around her daughters and grandchildren. She showed up with energy and encouragement for every milestone - first days of school, holiday parties, and birthdays. Known as much for her signature style as her radiant warmth, she carried herself with a grace, flair, and love for life that inspired everyone who knew her.

Rafe Ann is survived by her three daughters, Bethany Sebesta and her husband John, of Salt Lake City, UT, Channing Sorey and her husband Mason, of Little Flock, AR, and Madeline Stone of Bentonville, AR; and her two grandchildren, Brighton and George Sorey. She also leaves behind her brother, Danny Bolch, her sister, Mary Beth Crain, along with her nephews and niece, Brayden Bolch, Brooklyn Bolch, and Rafe Crain.

Preceding Rafe Ann in death are her grandparents, Rafe “Big Red” Harden Wallace and Mary Emma Barnett Wallace, and her mother, Mary Rafe Wallace.

A Celebration of Rafe Ann Du Bois’ Life will be held August 18, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Community Church in Fayetteville, AR with a reception for the family to follow. Guests are invited to attend virtually if unable to travel (http://youtube.com/@cccfay/streams).
