He was born December 29, 1924, in Bowler, Wisconsin, to the late William Fredrick Becker and Ella Marie Baum Becker.
He served in the U.S. Army Infantry during WWII. After graduating from Texas A & I College he worked for White Sands Proving Ground in New Mexico. He worked for the Jet Propulsion Lab on the Mariner Project and later retired from Xerox Corporation in California. Randy was a member of the Christian Center Church in Bentonville and taught sailing with the “Power Squad” in Rogers.
He is survived by his wife, Fern L. Becker; three daughters, Holly Perry of Fresno, CA, Christy Becker of Moreno Valley, CA and Heidi Taylor of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 6th, 2010, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 7th, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Rollins Funeral Home.
