Raymond R. Hayes, 85, died April 4, 2012 in Rogers, AR. He was born January 30, 1927 to the late Carl R. and Maggie (Boyd) Hayes. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Jean Duffy Hayes who passed away September 17, 1994.
Raymond served his country through 3 wars and retired as a Lt. Commander in the United States Navy after 28 years of service ranging from 1944-1972. He is survived by his dear friend and companion Margaret Spinks , his two sons, David Hayes of Ft. Bragg, CA and Gary Hayes of Vancover, Canada and daughter Christina Hayes of Rogers, his four grandchildren, Jeremy Harnishfeger, Chevy Williams and Tyler and Kaitlin Hayes, and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, George and Rex.
His funeral will be Friday, April 6, 2012 at 3:00pm at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home.
