Reginald Lamoine “Reggie” Welch, 60, of Gateway passed away Monday, May 4th. He was born June 23, 1954 to William Welch Jr. and Wilma Laverne Weddington Welch in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He touched the lives of all who knew him, while remaining firm in his beliefs and inspiring others to do the same. He enjoyed traveling and decorating. His ability to visualize the potential beauty of a piece of property and then transform it to realize that potential was rare. He was preceded by his father, William Welch, Jr.; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Weddington and Bessie Moore; his aunt, June Casey and his brother-in-law, Bill Trotter. Survivors include his mother, Laverne Welch of the home; his sister, Dixie Trotter of Pea Ridge; a niece; 2 nephews; numerous cousins and many friends.
