Greetings Family,
Bob and I worked , fished , toiled , and otherwise was up for days at a time for the precious sake of a wonderful noun called "the customer" ...cut fish , called numerous institutions about the price of anything from Hushpuppies to cooking grease........Bob was a penny pincher and always kept every receipt ....Ryan, the baby boy of such great wit, and I went across the street to a lumber company to buy a stapler to put of the sponsors names on a board. The stapler was a moderate $28 .....Ryan and I figured to play a trick on Bob and get some beer money so we the the 2 and made an 8 ......but the ole crafty Cajon looked at the receipt and started this string of words that I haven't heard and they weren't English...some kind of South Morgan City lingo that only a Cajon would understand....Needless to say the beer money was never acquired ... But the Man was honest and enjoyed a good joke , because he played some himself.......more to come......

I’m so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in God’s promise of a resurrection where we will be reunited with our loved ones who have passed away and will never be separated by death again - John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:3,4

Bob had a personality where everyone that met him was comfortable with him because of his sincerity about anything he did. He has so much good influence for so many people. The way he talked was captivating , We learn words that still help us today....words like { Is Ear} meaning this year.....{ Lash Ear } meaning last year........ we need peppa....{ Pepper } . He always was a good example to us all, always would do the work of so many and never think anything about all the hours, but for the people whom he help , or fed or entertained. In my eyes Bob Jett will always be a man among men for his character and poise ..It takes men like these to help us stay moral and set good examples for not only us but are kids , your kids and grandkids. I can still see him in my mind with an apron on and a smile on his face, always willing to help if he could...We all shall miss him , but the legacy he left is still growing and will help pave the way for our future.....If I could say anything to him now i'd say , thank you Sir for being a good example , thank you for your integrity, honestly and kindredship....you've made a better man..........
To the Family,
In times like these its difficult to express ones feelings about death ,but Ryan and family , your daddy was such a big part of so many lives , and i'm extending our condolences and Love......We are Brothers and i'm here , along with so many others that share your grief . Love and Respect....EWS
