Ronald "Ron" Austin

Ronald “Ron” Austin, 60, of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away on October 21, 2024. Born to Ronald Austin Sr. and Yvonne Dantic on November 29, 1963 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the love he had for family and friends was fierce. He was a big personality who always made people laugh out loud! He was The man…. The myth…. The legend.

Ron loved his family the absolute most. His children were his heart and that included his dog, Max. Ron loved to be on the water, whether it be the ocean, lake, river, or a swimming pool. He loved to fish and cook. His favorite time of year was football season, where every Sunday was game day and grilling with his closest friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Yvonne Austin; his brother, Lenny Austin; and his grandparents, Freda and Leonard Austin and Orville and Mary Dantic.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Dana Austin; dear children, Jay Austin (Cassidy) and Taylor Pulfer (Randall); Tyler Sechler, his sisters, Cyndi Austin (Rob) and Cathie Marks (Alan).

Ron’s Celebration-of-Life will be held Thursday, October 24th, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at one of Ron’s favorite places, Gusano’s Pizza in Bentonville.
