Ruby May (Baker) Subbert of Rogers, AR, born June 11, 1924 in Quincy, IL went to be with our Lord March 17, 2019. Preceded in death by her husband Lester Carl Subbert; Mother, Ida May (Deschaine) Bradney and Step Dad, Paul Shanks Bradney; her sister Ruth Laverne (Baker) Peeler. She is survived by her son’s Ronald Lester Subbert of Rogers and Barry Lynn Subbert (wife Kay Subbert) of Rogers. Grandchildren Christine Marie (Subbert) Brown of Rogers; Christina Jannette (Porter) Nelson (husband James) of Bentonville; Sean Michael Porter (wife Tori) of Springdale; Deric Lynn Subbert (wife Christel) of Centerton and Michael Paul Subbert (wife Becca) of Bentonville. Kimberly Kathleen (Subbert) Conlin of Marysville, KS and Shannon Marie (Subbert) Drelsey of Florida; 29 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
Ruby was a lifetime member of Eastern Star, enjoyed spending time with her children, grand children and great grandchildren. Ruby loved to make bead crafts and Counted cross stitch, also enjoyed watching sports (especially baseball) and camping with the family. Ruby was a Seamstress for her whole life enjoyed making clothes for her boys when they were children and as the Grands and Great Grands came along too, one Easter she made dresses for all the Great Granddaughters. Ruby always bragged that her greatest joy in her life was raising her 2 boys. She will be gravely missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22 at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26 in Benton County Memorial Park, where Ruby will be laid to rest with her husband.
