My daughters, Seyi and Remi, join me in sending our condolences to Marv and the entire family in the home-going of Rubye. For over 20 years Rubye traveled and accompanied Marv to each of the ten yearly veterinary conferences where VARL exhibited. Rubye and my wife, Deborah - also of pleasant blessed memories, shared so much together as Marv and I worked to manage our booths in the exhibit halls. I know that both are resting in the bosom of our Lord in eternal bliss.

Rubye is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Janice Rittgers(Michael) and John Gordon; granddaughter, Cydnie Reynolds(Mike); and two great-grandsons, Cameron and Kannen. We all love her and miss her immensely.

My grandma made the best meatloaf; taught me to crochet; TRIED to teach me to golf; threw the best New Year's Eve parties; and despite being sweeter than pie, hilariously got me, my mom and herself kicked out of a magic shop. She was an important part of my life and left me with endless beautiful memories.

I was Rubye and Sam's housekeeper at their residents. I loved seeing them both everyday! Rubye was the sweetest thing and was so loving. My birthday is June 11th and hers is June 13th so I had a birthday cake made for her and brought her flowers. She loved chocolate and fresh flowers. She would hug and kiss me every morning. Rubye and Sam would tell everybody they adopted me. I was their's. I'm goin to miss her so much but I'm glad she lived a happy life! I will never forget her!! I love you to the moon and back Rubye! R.i.p my dear!!
