Ruth was born June 23, 1926, in Chicago, Illinois, to Harold Popek and Marie Marek. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, John and Harold Popek; and her beloved husband of 53 years, Charles Frank Ryter.
Ruth is survived by her son, Charles Ryter (Donna) of Siloam Springs; her daughter, Ruth Dolle of Rogers; four grandchildren, Michelle McBride, Cindy Richardson (Nathan), Jaime Ryter and Jessica Ryter; and three great-grandchildren, Matthew McBride, Sarah McBride and Emily Richardson.
A cancer survivor, Ruth was a resident of the Rogers area after moving from Eureka Springs. She was a woman of deep and abiding faith and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Rogers. She was much more than a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother; she was the heart of the family, a source of strength, wisdom, love and faith through every season of life. Her kindness extended far beyond her family. Ruth brought joy to those around her and had a gift for making the people she met feel welcomed and cared for. The love she gave, the values she lived by, and the example she set became part of the generations that followed her.
Ruth's long and beautiful life was a blessing to her family and all those whose lives she had touched. She will be deeply missed, forever loved and always remembered.
