

Sherry Lee Dedmon Coffel, 62, of Washburn, Missouri, passed away on August 19, 2025, in St. Louis, Missouri, after a brief illness. She was born September 13, 1962, in Yuba City, California, to Earl Lee Dedmon and Guinna Logue Dedmon.
Sherry is survived by her mother, Guinna Callahan of Goshen, Arkansas; her devoted husband of 43 years, Richard Coffel of the home; her son, Richard Coffel II (Kerri) of Jane, Missouri; her daughter, Brandy Jones (Josh) of Seligman, Missouri; and her cherished grandchildren, Ava Coffel (Haden), Gia Coffel, Brielee Jones, and Tucker Jones. She was joyfully anticipating the arrival of her first great-granddaughter, Jackie Bell, this November. She also leaves behind many beloved brothers and sisters, as well as a large extended family of nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Lee Dedmon.
Sherry will be remembered for her unwavering love of family, her kind and giving spirit, and the joy she found in her role as “Gaga.” As a dedicated special education teacher at Northside Elementary in Rogers, Arkansas, she devoted her career to guiding, encouraging, and uplifting her students, leaving a lasting impact on countless young lives. She touched many with her warmth, laughter, and strength.
Sherry’s life was deeply shaped by her faith in Jehovah. She found comfort, strength, and purpose in her service to the ministry as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, faithfully sharing her hope with others.
A memorial service to honor Sherry will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 301 NE Hudson Rd, Rogers, AR 72756
