Sonye was born on 11/5/1954 in South Korea to Pong Kil Chong and Nam Sun Kim. She was a strong, stubborn, and independent woman after moving to America in 1980.
She was a dedicated worker and retired from Tyson after several decades.
She especially loved sewing after her first job in America as a seamstress for Levis in Harrison, AR closed. She loved the outdoors and hiking. She loved foraging for something to eat while on a hike or walk. Eating with her family always brought her so much joy.
Sonye got compliments on her glowing skin and thick black hair everywhere she went.
Sonye is survived by children, Jimmy (April) Nowak and Christina Fancher; and grandchildren, Alex and Kevin Nowak, and Dreyden and Stiles Fancher.
Sonye will be deeply missed by her family and all the friends she made along the way.
