Stephanie Nicole Conner

Steph was baptized to the Lord Nov 13 1988. When 18 months old she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. She never let it stop her and always kept a smile on her face.

Steph attended and graduated from Chanute schools. While there she was in band, track and made state, basketball and volleyball, both school and HOA. She also was active in church youth group and was able to attend two national youth gatherings.

Steph graduated from NCCC as a scholar athlete and played volleyball.

At Ks Wesleyan University Steph graduated with a degree in leadership and business and MS degree. She also played on the volleyball team and still carries at least one volleyball record for the school.

She loved “chillaxing” with family and friends camping and traveling to new places.

On Oct 18, 2014 Steph married Brian Conner of Salina in Chanute.

While in Salina she worked for Wilson and Co, Lowes and YMCA. In Arkansas she worked for Lowes in Fayetteville.

She is survived by husband Brian Conner; son Brody Conner of Lincoln, AR; daughter Ashlynn Conner of Lincoln, AR; both parents of Gravette AR.; brother Christopher and Jeana Wilken of Rogers, AR. and nephews. Grandparents Dennis and Erma Davis. One sister-in-law and three brothers-in-law and families, and uncles, aunts and cousins.

Memorial services will be held in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rogers, AR on Friday October 26, 2018 at 2pm Visitation from 1 till 2 at the church.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made toward Stephanie’s children’s education in care of the family.
