Terry Gene Hurd, 62, of Lowell passed away Friday August 7, 2020. He was born December 19, 1957 in Rogers to the late Roger Lewis and June Tolbert Hurd. Terry enjoyed a 35 year career with Glad Manufacturing, playing John Prine songs on his guitar, working on projects around the place, including completely remodeling their home and building a greenhouse. Mr. Hurd was a long-time member and Stephen Minister at Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers. Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 30 years, Betty Hurd of Lowell; his son, Grady Hurd and wife, Chelsey of Rogers; his sister, Becky Sutherland and husband, Frank, of Gateway; his brothers, Ronnie Hurd and wife, Patsy, of Pea Ridge and Sammy Hurd and wife, Linda, of Cassville, Missouri; a granddaughter, Kaydence Hurd; numerous extended family members and dear friends. Visitation will be from 5-7:00pm, Sunday, August 16 in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. An outdoor Funeral Service will begin at 11:30am, Monday, August 17, 2020 (please bring a lawn chair) at the family farm, 11711 Cemetery Rd, Rogers with interment to follow in Bayless Cemetery near Gateway.
