Vance "Pete" Perry, Jr.

He graduated Sherman High School in Sherman, Texas, and attended North Texas State University where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree. He most recently worked for Tyson Foods in Logistics for 19 years until his retirement in 2008. He was a member of Charity Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother Iris Perry of Gravette; daughter, Shelly Denise Perry of Rogers; siblings Douglas Perry of Atlanta, Georgia, Cathy Roberts of Plano, Texas; granddaughter Alexa Renee Perry of Rogers; and six nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2010, at Rollins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Charity Baptist Church, 2901 W. Olive St, Rogers. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Gravette.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, should be made to Charity Baptist Church.
