Vonda Lee Dane

March 16, 1937 to the late Oscar James and Eola Beatrice (Dyer) Whittington.

She was the wife of the late Walter L. Dane Jr.

Vonda is survived by her children Paul Rodney Benton of

Rogers and Lorraine Dark of Bella Vista, and step-children Theresa Pockrus, Mary Yingst, Rose

Wilson, Cecelia Foy, Diana Thomas, Anita Parker, Angela McKinney, Beth

Parmar, William Dane, Walter Dane III. She has 6 grandchildren and 8

great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her second husband, Billy Joe Pinson and

siblings, James Wittington, Billy Joe Wittington, Fountain Phillip

Wittington, Wendall Wittington, Vernon Wittington, Herman Wittington,

Bertha Whitley, and Lorraine Ranton.

A Memorial service will be held Friday, August 24, 2012 at 1:30pm in

Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Washington Regional Hospice or the

American Cancer Society.
