Walevska Martinez passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 25th, 2023 after a long battle with a chronic illness. She was surrounded by friends, family, and lots of laughter during her last weeks of life.
Walevska was born in the Bronx, New York to Sandra Casso and Leo Martinez. She grew up in Miami, Florida before moving to Arkansas. She loved children, animals, and sharing laughter with family and friends. She started her own dog breeding business and in–home daycare. She was also very creative and had a passion for interior design.
She obtained her GED and graduated from Northwest Arkansas Community College with an associate degree in Massage Therapy in 2011. She achieved her goals and had a successful career managing her massage therapy business. She enjoyed healing and helping people with the skills that she learned.
Walevska will be lovingly remembered by her mother Sandra Casso and father Leo Martinez, and her daughters, Samantha Cabrera and Alycea Haven. Her sister, Jennifer McClary, brother Giovanni Martinez Sr., and grandchildren, Kyler Haven, Kohen Haven, and Ava Cabrera, and her nephew Giovanni Martinez Jr.
