Walter Bernard Durant, Jr., passed away on his birthday, 95 years later, on September 20, 2021. He was born on September 20, 1926 to the late Walter B. Durant, Sr. and Lucille (Bish) in Hamilton, Ohio.
He served in the Army and fought in WWII and Korea.
Walt was a wonderful man who had a great sense of humor and made everyone around him comfortable.
Walt loved Jesus and his family. He served God and his country faithfully, and his greatest joy in life was being a “soul winner” for the Lord. He wanted everyone to know that if you ask Jesus into your heart, then you will be saved and join him in Heaven one day. His favorite Bible verses were those included in “The Romans Road to Salvation.”
Romans 3:23, 3:10, 5:12, 6:23, 5:8, 10:9-10, 10:13 and 10:17.
