Wendel D. Hammons, 81, of Rogers went to be with our Lord April 24, 2010 at home with his loving family. He was born January 29, 1929 on a farm near Dunnegan, MO to the late Ted and Jewel (Paul) Hammons.
Wendel accepted the Lord as his savior when he was 13 years old and has been faithful to Him through the years.
Survivors include his loving wife Donna, of the home; one son, Alan and his wife Carole of Newton, KS; one grandson, Daniel and his wife Christine of Dallas, TX; and two great grandchildren, Tyler and Abigail.
Services for Wendel will be 10am Wednesday April 28, 2010 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Rogers with visitation the night before, Tuesday, April 27 from 5-7 at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers.
