

Wesley Richard Jacobi, 78, of Rogers, passed away Monday, December 23, 2013 in Bentonville. He was born November 28, 1935 in Pasadena, California to Edward Frank Jacobi and Leona Rosaline Miller Jacobi.
A veteran of the US Army, he was a self- employed machinist who retired to NW Arkansas from California. Although he enjoyed fishing, coaching youth football teams and cooking; his greatest pleasures came from the time shared with his family.
While stationed in Germany, he met the love of his life and they were married in Frankfurt, Germany. He is survived by his loving wife, of 56 years, Carolyn of the home; 2 daughters, Lori Jacobi (Ben King) and Janet Schoen of California; a son, Perry (Kim) Jacobi of Rogers; 8 grandchildren, Elizabeth (Chris) Kerrins, Michael and Baylor King, Allison and Kyle Schoen all of California, Dylan (Chrissy), Chelsea and Halea Jacobi of Rogers; and 2 great-grandchildren, Wesley and Michael Kerrin of California. He is also survived by brothers Don (Peggy) and John Jacobi of California.
A visitation will be held Thursday, December 26 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Rollins Funeral Home and a Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers with burial to follow within National Cemetery in Fayetteville. His twin great-grandsons Wesley and Michael Kerrins will serve as honorary pallbearers. Memorials are suggested to Northwest Arkansas Branch- Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 4241 N Gabel DR, Ste 2B, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
